Meet Larry

Larry works in Graphic Services. This video was taken first thing in the morning when we came in and found that the air wasn't working... only in our department. He's very frustrated about the air, but he agrees to the video anyway. What a guy!

This next video is a quick "hello" to Ken Foster and a tour around FP and Graphic Services. There's more to the building, and there's more to the people here, but this is just quick. There is be more. You'll get to see Ken in another video soon... and MORE pictures.
Now, I should get back to resting. I'm a bit sick, which gave me time to put these on the blog. Enjoy it while I sleep! We'll post more soon!

Marshall Last Sunday

WHAT A TREAT! We were able to see Chris and Anji (Matt's brother and sister) last Sunday as they were passing through Marshall. Chris and Anji, with their church, went on a mission trip to Galveston, and they stopped by Marshall for lunch at Cici's! Their group's theme is "Buck Up and Serve," and they're doing a rebuilding project due to the destruction the hurricane caused.

So... We caught up with them and enjoyd visiting with family! Here are some pictures.

Saturday Work

So, while Matt was outside working, I decided to video tape him... and then come inside into the air conditioned house and put it on the blog! (I promise that I was doing work, too... Maybe if Matt wanted to video tape ME---the movie star that I am--- you could see that I do a couple things around here, too... not that I'm bitter, or anything.)

So, all passive aggression aside, here is the video of some progress on beautifying and styling the outside of Stone House! We sure have fun!

Worship Night...But No Photos...

Last night we had a really fun time hosting a worship night here at Stone House! Molly had planned a whole "set list" and printed up chords for people to play, and we played instruments along with Ken and Joel! No one played the Djembe because it was being used as a table... :)

We had 14 people in the living room worshiping together; then, when the "set" was over, we opened it up for everyone to make "requestions" of their favorite hymns. Boy, we had some good ones! "Immortal, Invisible," "What a Friend We Have in Jesus," "Day by Day," "Great is Thy Faithfulness," "His Eye is on the Sparrow," "In the Garden," "How Great Thou Art," and more! We all just... played along! It was really neat to see Ken switch from Mandolin to guitar every now and then. He even played Molly's cello when everyone left!

It was a nice way to get to know everyone. We are pretty sure that everyone, except for one person, who is in town right now made it out to the praise night. (There are a lot of people out of town!)

We have a lot of leftover Tastefully Simple delights that Molly put together... c'mon over if you want some leftovers!

A Little Bit of a Tour

We are quite excited to be living in Texas... and a bit sad to be away from home. To bring ya'll a little closer to us, I've prepared a short video to show you around. Nothing special...

Oh!  We don't own this home... this is just our temporary home for the next... while.  :)

I hope you like our scrappiness!
